Turkish Apricots are an important import for J. F. Braun. Apricots are available in a wide assortment of sizes from #1, which size out at up to 100 pieces of fruit per kilo to as small as size #8, which are 220 or more pieces of fruit per kilo. They are offered in a 28 lb. carton and are available throughout the year. The crop in Turkey is harvested the middle to latter part of August and yields approximately 45-60,000 Metric Tons annually.
